Our First Half-Term In Nursery!

Date: 28th Oct 2017 @ 11:42am

What a busy half term we have had in Nursery. This half term we have been settling into Nursery by getting used to the routines and most importantly making relationships with both the adults and the children.
We have also had parents evening where our adults told you all about what we have been up to in Nursery and shared a few important messages.
1. We have been put into our Key Person groups and we have now got a book bag, along with a book to read at home. The groups and days for changing your child’s book are;
Miss Anders - Polar Bears (Thursday)
Miss Briody - Penguins (Wednesday)
Miss Spencer - Whales (Tuesday)
It is important that you read each night to your child and ask them questions about the book to check their understanding.
2. We would really like to practice our writing skills so we now have a register that we sign. If you could help your child with signing the register every morning (even if your child just makes a line that is amazing and so important to them).
3. Just a gentle reminder that we like to learn outside in all weathers. If your child has not brought a pair of wellies to Nursery and some spare clothing, could you please send them as soon as possible with your child’s name on them, thank you.
Finally, we hope you have had a lovely half term and we shall see you on Monday 30th October.
Miss Anders, Miss Briody and Miss Spencer.
