Good Morning Year 1!

I can't believe that we are in our last day of April already! The Year 1 teachers are so impressed with how hard you've been working- you've made us really proud!

Here are today's home learning tasks:

English

There are 2 tasks on the worksheet below:

1. Build a sentence - use the words to create a sentence (don't forget that there should be one word left over) using a capital letter and a full stop.

2. Complete the sentence- read the sentence and write in the correct word so that it makes sense.

Maths

We are going to be practising our 'reasoning' skills today, this means we have to explain our answers.

1. Read the statements from May and Robin- do you agree? Explain why. 

2. Read the clues Ava and Raj give for their animals. Can you decide what they are?

Other

Today is Captain Tom Moore's 100th birthday. If you're able to, read the information about this wonderful work with an adult and have a go at the questions.

There are also some colouring pictures for you to print or you could draw your own!
