Welcome back after the Easter Break. I hope you are all well and had lots of yummy chocolate treats to eat!

This week our story is 'We're going on a Bear Hunt' by Michael Rosen. We always find that this is a firm favourite with our children as they get swept along in the adventure!

There are lots of simple activities that you and your child can enjoy together, here are some ideas:

Copy and Paste the Link below to listen to Michael Rosen reading and acting out the story.

  • Make a bear face for a snack, using bread/toast , bananas/ tomatoes/ or any other favourite treats to make  ears and eyes for your bear
  • Can you ask your grown up to hide a teddy bear in the house or garden?  can you make  bear footprints to lead you to the bear?
  • Make a bear face with paint or collage materials ,colouring pencils or anything else you can find around your home use recycled junk to add a body, arms etc
  • Make a cave for your bear using blankets, pegs, cushions etc. Can you make it really dark like a cave?
