 Good Morning Everyone, 

I hope you have all had a lovely weekend and as always are keeping safe and happy! 

This week our story is ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ you can listen to the story by clicking on the video below:

Can you name the colours of the different fruit?  
Can you count the fruits? 
Can you count the days of the week? 
What are your favourite foods? 

 Activity ideas:

Collect leaves, sticks, flowers, wool, paper and other materials, can you make a warm, cosy place for your caterpillar to sleep? 
Can you use some of these materials to make a caterpillar, see the photograph for some inspiration! 

Can you create a beautiful butterfly? You can use anything you can get your hands on!

You could eat some of the fruit that the hungry caterpillar eats for a yummy snack; apple, orange, strawberries, grapes... which one do you like the most? Which one tastes tangy? Which one is juicy? Is it hard or soft?
