Year 1 Home Learning 31.3.20

Good Morning Year 1! I hope that you are all safe and well. What do you think of the weather at the moment? It has got a bit chilly but I hope you are still able to spend a few minutes outside with your coats on. I have been playing in my garden at home but have had my coat and even my hat on to keep me warm!

For today's Home Learning, I would like you to find some socks please! They don't even have to be your's! You could use any socks in your house!

Maths.

I know we did some counting in 2s last week but I hope you can keep it up whilst we're off so let's keep practising! Can you put your socks in pairs and count them in 2s? I will start you off! 2, 4.......

English.

Now, can you choose a favourite sock and tell me all about it using adjectives. I know some of you can write at least two sentences about your sock. Listen, here is my description of my favourite sock! My favourite sock is very thick and long. It is extremely fluffy and it is red with white stripes. It helps to keep my feet warm in the cold, chilly weather.

There is a picture of some socks on a washing line to help you count in 2s, you could write the numbers in the circles above the socks if you want? I have alos left a little space for you to draw and write about your sock!

We all miss you at school, remember to stay safe and keep washing your hands!
