English Today we are going to use some description both verbally and when writing sentences and join ideas in sentences using words like 'and', 'because' and 'if'. https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/znbx6v4 Activity one: Watch a short video about Barnaby Bear at an allotment and then describe what an allotment is to someone for at least 40 seconds! Activity two: Create a magical plant and write six sentences about it using conjunctions: and, but, because, if and when. |
Activity three: Design a magical plant about special people to you. Draw it and describe the features of it.
Maths:
Today we are going to apply what we know about subtraction to word problems. Remember to include the correct units in your answer! For example if you’re subtracting cakes your answer must be ____ cakes. Can you solve these calculations?
