Happy Friday everyone!

Today is no ordinary Friday, today is Pyjamarama day! A day to celebrate the bedtime story and reading together.

Maths
For today’s maths task we would like you to use the template attached (or create your own) and write down your 3 favourite books. Then ask as many people as you can either people you live with or people you can call, to vote for which of your 3 books they like the best.

Once you have gathered your data answer the questions on the template attached. There is also an example one for you to look at.

English

For Pyjamarama day, we would like you to read! Read any books you want to. Enjoy them on your own or with a family member. You could try drawing one of your favourite characters or you could learn how to draw a character from the Book Trust YouTube page:  https://www.youtube.com/user/Booktrust

You could learn to draw a robot, Mr Big or even a dinosaur! If you would like to take a picture of what you’ve done you could upload it into a scrapbook or email it to school on broadoak@sthelens.org.uk  Just make sure that you include your name and your class so that your teacher will see it!
