Year 2 home learning activities 30.6.20

Hello everyone! Here are today’s learning activities:

English

Today we will be learning about counting poems.

A poem is a piece of writing that expresses a thought, an emotion or a story. Poems can rhyme, use alliteration or have a rhythm but they don't have to.

Watch this short video to find out more about poems and for today’s tasks:

Activity 2: Complete the poem. Look at the incomplete poem and see if you can add in words to complete it.

Activity 3: Write your own counting poem. Write your own counting poem that counts up to, or backwards from ten. It could be about absolutely anything and can be as silly as you'd like.
