Year 3 activities 20.04.2020
Welcome back everyone!
We hope you have had a super Easter break, having fun, spending time with your families and haven't eaten too much chocolate! The weather was lovely and warm with lots of of sunshine.
We will continue to put daily activities on our class pages for you to complete each day and we will also send some activities by text each day.
English
Your English activities for this week will focus mainly upon reading, reading and more reading! You will need to read the text and then answer questions using our Reading VIPERS techniques (Vocab, Infer, Predict, Explain, Retrieve, and Summarise)
Read the text extract from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory which has been uploaded. Next, complete the vocabulary questions. Record the information into your English books.

Maths
This week in Maths we are going to focus on Place Value. To start us off, we are going to play a game. Please follow the link to practise identifying hundreds, tens and ones. Be careful, or the shark may bite your boat!
