Year 5 Learning From Home - Tuesday 19th May

Hello everybody! I hope that you're all keeping well. Here are your tasks for today:

Maths:

Complete the 5 in 5. Then, have a go at the 'Sorting and Solving Word Problems' worksheet. You will need to decide whether to add, subtract, multiply or divide to solve each problem! These are organised by 1, 2 or 3 stars depending on the level of challenge and there are answers attached for you to mark your work.

English:

Today we will focus on punctuation - specifically inverted commas. The 'Be the Teacher!' worksheet has instructions at the beginning reminding you how to use inverted commas. Once you have refreshed your memory, have a go at spotting the mistakes in the sentences before rewriting them correctly. There is an answer sheet for you to check your work afterwards.
