Year 5 Learning From Home - Tuesday 28th April

Hello everybody! I hope that you are all well and enjoying the lovely weather we are having.

Today, have a go at these activities:

MATHS

Complete the attached 5 in 5 activity first. Once you have finished this, try solving the delicious 'Pizza Problems'! We worked on adding and subtracting decimal numbers during Spring term. Remember that the decimal points must be lined up when you are doing your working!

ENGLISH

You have a writing challenge today based on the zoo! You have a story starter, which is: "It seemed like the perfect day to go to the zoo, but..."

Think about what sort of wild, wonderful and bonkers things could happen in your story. On the sheet attached there is some vocabulary to help you. For a bit of inspiration, here are some useful links:
