Year 5 Learning From Home 21/05/2020

Good Morning Year 5! I hope you're all ok and enjoyed the sunshine yesterday. Try your best with today's work, you know that's all I ever ask of you. I saw this quote yesterday and it reminded me of you all!

Maths:

First, I would like you to complete the 5 in 5 activity. Following this, I would like you to complete the mixed word problems. There are three different sheets and they increase in challenge; pick the sheet you feel is the most suitable for you. Remember to try your best, you're all capable of amazing things when you put your mind to it!

English

I would like you to be creative today. I have attached a Limerick worksheet for you to complete. The worksheet explains the rhyming structure and style of a Limerick. There are several different challenges to complete and the final challenge is to write a Limerick of your own. I would absolutely love to see your work, you can email the school email address with anything you would like us to see and they will forward it to your teachers. I know that Year 5 will have completed some lovely work so far and I would really like to see it :)
