Year 5 Learning From Home- 01.04.2020

Good morning Year 5! I hope you are all keeping safe.
Well done to those of you who have been keeping up with our home learning- I have seen some fantastic work so far. I am very proud of you all.

To start off the day, remember PE with Joe Wicks live at 9am on Youtube! An amazing way to start the day. Then, take a look at the tasks for today and give them a go in your exercise books.

English

Complete the passage in your English books, by adding either a question mark or an exclamation mark. Make sure you read it back to make sure it makes sense. Once you have done this, have a go at the punctuation game attached. Something fun to refresh your memory and finish off your English learning for the day!

Maths

Start by completing the 5 in 5 activity in your exercise book.

For your main activity, have a go at the place value challenge cards! The challenge cards go progressively harder, so you can choose which cards you would like to complete. You can complete these questions in your maths books.
