Spellings

Learn this week's spelling list (silent letters at the beginning of words) with a different spelling activity each day.

Reading Comprehension

Today's reading comprehension will teach you what a 'hung parliament' is. Use your skimming, scanning, decoding and inference skills to answer the questions set. Remember, there are three levels of difficulty to choose from. If your child is struggling, choose the 'one star' version, if they are finding the work ok, choose the 'two star' version and if they'd like to challenge themselves, choose the 'three star' version.

Music

LO: To understand how rhythmic cycles feature in Indian classical music.

This lesson will begin with a traditional Indian lullaby, followed by learning the key features of Indian classical music, and how to clap the Tala cycles. Following this, you will have the opportunity to compose a Tala cycle of your own. Remember, we have looked at this before in our usual Music lessons with Mr McIntyre! :)
