English – Characters

In today’s lesson we will think about different ways of referring to the characters introduced in the opening scene. We will then generate adjectives to help us describe them in our writing.

Reading - The text for this week is called ‘White Lies’.  You will use this text each day to work through the Vipers questions. Today, you need to focus on decoding a list of unfamiliar words. It does say on the sheet to try and do this without a dictionary, but please use one if you need to do so. 

Spellings – This week we will be learning how to use the ch diagraph for the /sh/ sound. Take a look at this week’s new spelling words. Can you choose 5 words to put into a sentence. Record your sentences down in your book.

PE - Today’s PE lesson is all about building your stamina. You will take part in a Joe Wicks lesson, concentrate on your breathing to help you last longer without feeling tired.
