We are going to be writing a script today as a television presenter. We are going to share our knowledge about Africa. In school we will be using a green screen/ chroma key. This is used in television to show something that isn't really there like when you watch a weather report, there isn't really a map behind them! Or in films such as Alice in Wonderland and Pirates of the Carribbean.
Task:to write a script of what you want to tell everyone about Africa. Here's my example:
Hello and welcome to Africa today! I'm your host Mrs Gorman and I would like to share some facts about Africa with you. There are a number of wild animals that live on the continent of Africa, like giraffes, elephants, zebras and lions. These animals live in the savanna which is a grassland. This means there are only a few trees. Some places in Africa are similar to England with facilities like stadiums, cinemas, swimming pools and play areas.
You could record yourself being a TV presenter saying your information and then upload it to Seesaw.
