English:
LO: To Understand how speech is used in newspaper reports.
In this lesson we will look at what speech is and why it is used in newspaper reports.
When we read a newspaper report we may notice that there are some ‘quotes’ from different people involved. A quote is something someone has said. For example, Sophie (from The Tiger Who Came to Tea might say ‘A huge tiger came to tea at my house, it was terrifying’.
On the session worksheet or on some paper write a speech bubble for Sophie, Mum and the Tiger. Remember to think carefully about what they might say.
Maths:

In this lesson you will explore mathematical problems in context and consider different solutions.
