Maths – Calculate area
In today’s lesson we will calculate the area of rectangles in square metres and find the missing lengths given the area.
English – Extending sentences
In today’s lesson we will practise extending sentences using joining words (conjunctions). We will use this to help us continue our opening paragraph.

Reading Vipers – Have another go at reading the text to remind yourself of the story and to go over any unfamiliar words again. Today’s task is to have a go at the ‘inference’ questions. This means that the answer might not be in the text, instead you will need to read between the lines and imagine what the author is trying to say.
Spelling – Today you have the chance to choose a spelling strategy to practise your spellings before our test tomorrow. Take a look and choose an activity.
DT – Initial designs. So now you have tasted a number of chocolate products you are going to start considering what you would like your chocolates to be like. Work through the lesson slides before creating 4 different designs of your own.
