Maths - Length and Measure
In today’s lesson we will be applying our learning so far to help us practise answering different styles of questions.
https://classroom.thenational.academy/lessons/length-and-measurement-application-ccr68e
English - Today I would like you to read your plans from yesterday, and consider the word classes we have learned so far: adjectives, verbs ending in 'ing' and adverbs. I would like you to make your writing even better by seeing if you can include any of these. For example:
The wet, sticky mud clung to my boots = expanded noun phrase
I carefully stepped out onto the field = adverb
Peering over the top of the trench, I could see the German soldiers = verb ending in 'ing'
Spelling - Today you will complete a word search using our focus words. I have also put on a suggested outdoor activity if the weather is nice!
Remember to access ‘Spelling PDF document for the week’ to guide you through the activity.
Vipers - Today we will answer comprehension questions all about our text. Remember to access ‘Vipers PDF for the week’ document to guide you through the activity.
Science - How can we tell if a material is magnetic or not?
In this lesson, we will look at how we can tell if a material is magnetic or not and also learn how to make our own magnets!
