Phonics

LO: To blend to read words.

Today we are going to blending to read words. Think carefully about the sounds in each word and then blend them to help you read.

Use your Buried Treasure worksheet to identify if the words are ‘trash’ or ‘treasure’.

English

LO: To retell the story of ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ from a different perspective.

Today we are going to write the final 3 parts of our recount, the cave, the bear and the family running home.

Again, use my example to help you but try to think of your own words and ideas.

Maths

LO: To find the mass of objects using a specific unit.

In this lesson we will be using balance scales and units to find out how much objects weigh.

Learning Challenge

LO: I can understand different types of housing in our local area.

Task:  Read through the PowerPoint then match up the picture to the houses. Draw a straight line.
