LC: What is a microhabitat?

Before opening the powerpoint below, think about the following questions: 
Based on what we know about what a habitat is, does anyone what a microhabitat is?  
Read the slides which explain what a microhabitat is (slide 1-8). Try to go on a hunt around your garden/ in a local forest and hunt for microhabitats ( near a pond/ under a log/ in a pile of leaves etc.)

What type of microhabitats DID you find? What types of animals did you find? (spiders, worms, ants etc.)
