LO: To understand the significance of Anglo-Saxon Kings.

Open and follow the 'Anglo-Saxon Kinds' Powerpoint. Today we are looking at how significant the Anglo-Saxon Kings were.

Task 1: You are going to research either King Athelstan or King Alfred. You are going to find out why your king was the best king and make notes.

Task 2: You are then going to do some role play! You are going to pretend each king has come back to life. You will then debate with the other king as to why you are the better king.
