LO: To write an introduction to a newspaper report.

Today you are going to write the introduction to your newspaper report. This part should tell the reader what has happened.

Example: Sophie was having tea with her mum on Tuesday evening, when suddenly there was a knock at the door. She opened the door to find a huge, furry tiger. The tiger didn’t hurt anyone, but it did eat all the food and drank all the drinks in the house.
