Phonics

LO: To correct sentences with mistakes.

In this lesson we are going to identify mistakes in sentences and correct them.

English

LO: To find adjectives to describe different parts of the story.

Today we are going to be looking at 2 different pictures from the story ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’. Around each picture are some blank rectangles and arrows pointing to different parts of the picture. I want you to have a look at what each arrow is pointing to and write a describing word for it.

For example, if the arrow is pointing to the mud, I don’t want you to write mud, I want you to write describing words for the mud, thick, smelly, dirty, brown.

LO: To solve problems involving doubling and halving.
