Sport Premium
Primary P.E. and Sport Premium
The government provided funding of £330 million per annum from the academic year 2017 to provide new and substantial primary school sport funding. The funding has been jointly provided by the Departments for Education, Health and Culture, Media and Sport, and has seen money going directly to primary school headteachers to spend on improving the quality of sport and PE for all their children.
Purpose of the funding
Schools will have to spend the sport funding on improving their provision of PE and sport, but they will have the freedom to choose how they do this. In order to see how Broad Oak has spent their funding during 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 please click on the link below. The document will also highlight the impact the funding has had on the whole school community.
