The rule of law
At Broad Oak Community Primary, the importance of laws, whether they be those that govern the class, the school or the country are consistently reinforced throughout the school day. Pupils are taught the value and reasons behind laws, that they govern and protect us, the responsibilities that this involves and the consequences when laws are broken. A consistently applied behaviour policy is shared with all children from EYFS to Year 6; expectations are reinforced by all members of staff and positive praise and rewards are used consistently.
