Vision
During their time at Broad Oak, children will become enthusiastic about geographical learning through practical and engaging activities, leaving with the foundations and knowledge to understand their local environment and the world around them.
Intent
Here at Broad Oak we aim to inspire all of our children to have a curiosity and fascination about our world and its people. We aim to equip them with geographical knowledge, skills and vocabulary to be able to explore and investigate their immediate local environment and the wider world around them.
Take a look at your child's Learning Challenge Curriculum and the Geography progression map to find out when they will be learning Geography and what specific knowledge and skills they will be developing.
As part of our Vision and Impact statement, hereat Broad Oak, we use the Odizzi to further enrich our Geography curriculum.
