Your Maths activities for this week will focus upon addition. Your Maths activity for today is to practice your mental addition skills on an interactive game. You can modify the difficulty of the addition questions so that it is suitable for your child. When you click on the game, select ‘addition’ and then scroll down the list and select any of the Y4 addition standards to practice!

Today is brainstorming day. Choose a topic you would like to research in order to write a persuasive argument.  Some examples might include: Should children wear school uniform to school? Should animals be in zoos? Should there be a limit on screen time for children under 18 years old? 

Have a think about what interests you.  You can use the internet to research arguments for and against to build up a bank of facts and opinions for your persuasive paragraph.
