Literacy:

For your literacy learning today, I would like you to think about 'fiction' and 'non fiction'. Can you find out what these words mean? I will give you a clue - books can be 'fiction books' or 'non fiction books'. Can you find a fiction book? Can you use a non fiction book to find out some information? 

Maths:

Yesterday, I asked you to think about weight by exploring the food packages in the kitchen cupboard. Today, I would like you to have a go at finding 2 or 3 items in your house and putting them in order by weight. Can you find something that is very light? Can you find something that is very heavy? Maybe you could hold an item in each hand and compare their weight? 

Additional:
Can you create a potion or some perfume? Use an old bowl and spoon and gather some leaves, grass sticks, mud, daisies and anything else you would like to add! Mix all of your ingredients together, practice using scissors to snip the ingredients!
