WELCOME BACK AFTER THE EASTER HALF TERM BREAK! 

This half term our over arching topic theme will be 'Splish, Splash, Splosh!' We will try and theme some of our activities around this theme, for you. I hope you enjoy this topic theme as much as I do. 

Literacy 

Today, I would you to listen to one of my favourite stories being read aloud. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9pRhgZ8Jffs Once you have listened to the story can you aswer some questions about each of the sea creatures? I'm sure that an adult in your home can think of some questions/ clues for you to answer about the sea creatures. For example, 'this sea creature has 8 long legs and has suckers on each of the legs, what is it?' .... 'it's an... octopus!!' 

Maths

Complete the under the sea themed addition and subtraction problems. The problem cards are attached for you below. Try and use practical resources which you can manipulate to help you with the number problems.
