YR Home Learning - Tuesday 12th May

Hello everyone, sorry your home learning is a little late today. I have had some technical diffulties. 

Here is your home learning for today. 

Maths 

Can the number 14 be halved? When we half a number, we split it into two equal groups. If we can half a number then we can call this is an even number, if we cannot half it then we call this an odd number. Can you try halving the numbers 1-14 and find out if they are are an odd or even number. Find some resources so you can physically seperate them into the two groups. Don't worry if you find the odd and even part of this task tricky, just try your best with the halving! I can't wait to see how you all get on!

Literacy 

Can you design a treasure map and write some simple sentences to direct someone to the treasure? There is a sheet attached to support you with this if you like.
