YR HOME LEARNING - Tuesday 5th May 2020

Good morning everyone! I hope you are all well. Here are you home learning tasks for today.

Literacy

Yesterday, you listened to a reading of ‘Sharing a Shell,’ and you wrote some sentences. Today, let’s see if you can read some under the sea themed sentences. Attached below, are some sentences with sound buttons to help you segment then read the word. Once you have read the different words, can you recall the whole sentence back?

Maths

Before school closed, we were learning about the Number 12, with the help of the Number blocks. I really miss learning Maths with the Number blocks so I thought it would be a good idea if we started again. Here is the link to the Number 13 video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Np24uSP7TP0 Number 13 is so unlucky and he has a lovely song to tell you all about him. It's really catchy.

I have attached a Number 13 PowerPoint for you to investigate this number. Work your way through the PowerPoint to see all the different ways you can show 13. There are some 'star challenges' for you to have a go at as well such as find 13 small objects and sort them into 2 groups.  Enjoy :)

Additional

Miss Bowes, our PE Coordinator has shared with you all some 'School Home Games' activities for you to try. I thought it would be a lovely if you could have a go at some of these games with your family in your houses of back gardens. I have attached the document below for you to have a look through and pick the games you want to play.

Enjoy
