HOME LEARNING- Wednesday 22nd April

Good morning everyone. Hope you are all staying safe and enjoying the sunshine!

Remember not to worry about home learning too much and just do what you can. Reading is always a pleasureable learning activity.

Literacy 

It's wellbeing Wednesday in our Borad Oak Family... so to bring a little bit of well being to your homes and practise story telling. I've attached a Tales Toolkit template that the children are familiar with. Can you use the template to create a story? Perhaps link it to our theme Splish, splash, splosh. Make it as exciting and creative as you can. 

Maths

Use objects in your home to practice doubling numbers up to 10 (you can go beyond 10 if you are feeling like a challenge). There is a sheet attached with some ideas. 

Additional

It is wellbeing Wednesday, and it is also Earth Day! So the sun is shining and you are all doing a fantastic job at staying at home. If you can today enjoy a walk together. Look at all the flowers blooming, you could take some photographs, draw your favourite flower, collect some natural materials to make pictures with in your garden. Most importantly smile together.
