Good morning year 1!
Today is the last day of learning for two weeks. You have been working so hard you deserve a break. Make sure to eat lots of chocolate, play lots of games and keep on smiling.
English:
Today as we are at home and not with our friends in school. I would like you to watch an episode of your favourite tv programme. Make sure that you are watching carefully noticing all of the amazing parts of the show. You are then going to write a review on it. Why should/shouldn’t your friends watch it? What was your favourite part and why?
As always remember to use your; capital letters, finger spaces and full stops.
Maths:
Today n maths we will be looking a weight. We will be using our amazing estimation skills to discuss the difference in weight of different items in our home. Find food in your kitchen, such as a tin of beans.
Can you find something which is heavier and something which is lighter?
You can do this with lots of other items such as toys.
Challenge yourself further; maybe order them from heaviest to lightest.
We all miss you being in school, take care of each other and stay safe!
