Good Morning Year 1, I hope you've had a lovely holiday and enjoyed the glorious weather! I can't believe that we are in our last half term before the Summer holidays, this year has gone so quickly! Take a look at today's learning tasks:

English

This week is very short so we are going to do some non-fictional writing. You are going to write a postcard to describe what you have done during the holidays. Today we will start with looking at the features of a postcard. Open and look through the PowerPoint.

Task 1: Can you list which six things need to go on a postcard?

Task 2: Think about what you did during the holidays ready for tomorrow.

Today we are going to find one more and one less than a 2-digit number. *Remember, if you are finding one more, the number will get bigger and if you are finding one less, the number will get smaller* Look carefully at your 100 square to help you.
