Reception home learning- Wednesday 13th May
Good morning everyone- hope you are are well and staying safe. Wednesday is a day for well being. Remember to do something that makes you smile and feel all warm and fuzzy inside! I'm going to bake some of Mrs Fletcher's Oreo cupcakes which she shared on Tapestry (if you can't access Tapestry email the school requesting access). I looking forward to enjoying them later.
English
Practise writing your surname. A surname is your last name. If you can already write your surname practise some cursive handwriting ready for year 1. When using our cursive writing our pen/pencil always starts on the line and goes up! It's a little bit tricky to start with but lots of practise will help.
Maths
Play 'What time is it Mr Wolf?' with your house today. Use o'clock times (you may want to add some half past times too). There is an o'clock sheet at the bottom to have a go at too.
Additional
Read your favourite story together with an adult. Perhaps change the ending? I wonder if you can think of a different exciting way for the story to end?
Enjoy these phonics clips provided by letters and sounds which we follow in school. They will help you with your reading and writing.
