Y4 Home Learning Tasks 29.04.20
Good morning Y4! I hope you've had a wonderful week so far and have been enjoying your home learning! Take a look below for today's tasks!
English
Did you enjoy the film? Today, you are going to have a go at organising some more vocabulary to describe Mara in a ‘Zone of Relevance’. You need to read each word from the sheet and decide how relevant it is to Mara.
If you think it really matches (relevant) Mara’s appearance or personality, place it in the middle of the zones, if you think it doesn’t describe her very well, place the word in the outer zones and if you think it doesn’t describe Mara at all, place it outside the zones.

Maths
Good morning Y4. The remainder of your Maths activities this week are going to focus upon division, specifically looking at the ‘bus stop method.’ Before we moved onto home learning, we were learning all about the bus stop method in our Maths lessons. Firstly, watch the following YouTube video to recap your memory.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=trjepeOy2rc
Now have a look at the explanatory PowerPoint which will similarly explain how to use the bus stop method by showing you example questions. Once you have worked your way through the video and the PowerPoint, have a go at the worksheet. Today, none of your answers will have remainders e.g. 26 ÷ 12 = 2r2
If you finish this worksheet, refresh your memory of your times tables by having a go at the multiplication game Stone Age Stu!

Enjoy!
