Good morning, everyone! Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend and a lovely bank holiday Friday. We had the weather until Sunday - then it seemed to go really cold and a little bit damp! Hopefully it will brighten up again soon. Today's activities are:

Maths:

Complete the work finding percentages of numbers. Remember, you can work out any percentage of any number if you know that:

50% = divide by 2

25% = divide by 4

10% = divide by 10

1% = divide by 100

So if I wanted to find 31% of 60, I could find 10% and multiple that by 3 to find 30%, then find 1% and add it on.

10% of 60 = 6 (60 divided by 10)

6 x 3 = 18

1% of 60 = 0.6 (60 divided by 100)

So 31% of 60 is 18.6
