Year 6 activities 20/04/2020

Good morning everyone!

I hope that you had a lovely Easter break in the sun, and that you made the most of getting lots of sunshine in your gardens. Myself, Mrs Sullivan and Mrs Bridge have been talking to one another on the phone about how much we are very much enjoying the weather and Easter Eggs, but very much missing you guys! 

I have added some maths and English work for you to have a go at. Something to get your brains active and thinking about some foundations in both subjects. Your English activity is prepositions. Remember, they are a word that is used to connect nouns, pronouns and phrases to objects, time and locations. Try the worksheet, as your read through, it will recap and help you. For your maths activity, I have given you an activity booklet which will help you refine some of your addition and subtraction. As this is a booklet, there are some straightforward, and not so easy challenges in there. See if you are still as fast as your was before the holidays.
