Good morning everyone, I hope that you have all had a lovely long weekend and enjoyed the VE Day Celebrations. I really enjoyed the VE themed activities that Miss Traverse uploaded for you, on Thursday.
Can you remember what our theme is this for this half term?… that’s right, ‘Splish, Splash, Splosh!’ Here are todays home learning activities based on the book; Pirates love Underpants.
Literacy
Watch this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vd8_Y1bEzA8 of a reading of Pirates love Underpants. Now, attached is a Tales Toolkit document based on this story. Can you write some sentences for each part of the Tales Toolkit? Remember to use your phonics to sound out and record the words. Remember, not everything needs to be spelt correctly.
Maths
This week’s number is the Number 14. Watch this Numberblocks video firstly; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xjGIx5f4uYg Can you find 14 things and separate them into two groups? How many do you have in the different groups? Can you record this as a number sentence? Can you find all the different ways of separating 14 into two groups?
