RGood Morning Everyone,

Your Home learning activity today is a shape hunt. Can you remember what our number of the fortnight was? Yes it was number 4. Can you think of any shapes that have 4 sides? There are a few but we are going to focus on a square and rectangle today.

Open the document below and have a look at the square and rectangle and discuss the information provided about them. Ask your child the following questions:

Can you run your finger along the sides?

Can you count them?

What do you notice about the sides of a square?

What do you notice about the sides of a rectangle? 

Can you go on a shape hunt around the house/outside and find objects that are the shape of a square or rectangle? Can you take a photo of them and upload it on tapestry?
