Year 5 Learning from Home- Wednesday 29th April

Good morning everybody!!

I hope you have been enjoying the sunshine this week. Here are your learning tasks I would like you to complete for today.

Maths

First, complete your 5 in 5 in your maths books. Then, take a look at the maths activity attached. Remember to use a place value chart to help you work the answers out. If you don't have one, you can draw one (but make sure you don't miss any columns out by accident). We are super at multiplying and dividing by 10,100 and 1000 in Year 5, so I know we won't have any problems with this!

English

For your English Task, I would like you to take a look at the persuasive marvellous meals worksheet attached. Your task is to write a letter persuading parents to let their children have school dinners. Remember to include all of the persuasive writing techniques we have looked at together in class! These are listed at the bottom of the worksheet to help you.
