Year 6 activities 28/04/2020

Happy Tuesday Year 6. 

I had a great day in school yesterday. It was lovely to see some of you and listen to some of the things you have been doing whilst staying inside. 

The Oak National Academy lessons cover similar themes today, they look quite interesting, as 6B know all too weel - I do enjoy fractions a lot, so I am happy to see that the teachers who create this site for the government agree with me and added some more on there for you to look at. The English activity continues to look at newspaper writing and using direct speech. Quite handy. Maybe you could look at writing your own newspaper report about lockdown? If your like Mckenzie in 6B, you will already be quite the journalist - this will help refine your already brilliant reporting prowess. There is also a lovely history lesson on there that I know you will all find incredibly interesting.
