Good morning Y4! I hope that you have been having lots of fun in the sun over these past few days and have been enjoying all of the precious time that you are spending with your families. Below are your Maths and English tasks for today, all that we ever ask from you is that you try your very hardest and give 100% effort when completing your tasks. We miss you very much and hope that you are staying happy and safe!

Your Maths activities for this week will focus upon multiplication, specifically times tables. Your Maths activity for today is to practice your times tables on TT Rockstars for 30 minutes. The more you practice, the more coins you will earn for your character! Remember, your TT Rockstars password has been sent home in our ‘home learning pack.’
You can also practice your arithmetic skills by answering 10 daily questions on Top Marks! This is very similar to the 5 a Day session that we do in school each day! Parents, you can adjust the difficulty of the questions to suit your child! :)

Good morning! How did you do yesterday with the vocabulary questions? We’re moving on today to have a look at retrieving and inference. Remember, to read the text carefully for the retrieval questions. The inference questions need you to read between the lines. Good luck!
